Sustain Our Comprehensive Services
Sustain Our Comprehensive Services
The Need
Over fifty years of experience has reinforced our commitment to a whole patient approach to health care. We take pride in the effectiveness and efficiency of our programs; every dollar invested in our primary care and wrap-around services makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Our neighbors face an overwhelming number of social and economic barriers to their ability to access care. Annually we serve more than 60,000 patients, 43% of whom lack insurance. Anticipated changes in government funding will likely increase the number of uninsured patients we serve. While we remain strong stewards of public funds, private philanthropy is more essential than ever before in helping us adapt and continue delivering high-quality care. The 50 More Campaign will support:
- Primary and preventative medical care for infants through adults
- Care coordination and patient advocacy services that create pathways to health for our patients
- Behavioral and mental health programming that treats trauma and improves well-being
- Wellness programs that help prevent and address chronic illnesses.
Bringing Together the Strong Programming of Open Door and Family Services of Westchester
We have embraced bold growth to meet the needs of our community. With Family Services of Westchester (FSW), a leader in early childhood and mental health programming, becoming part of the Open Door Care Network we are positioned to serve more families with broader services and
deeper support. Together we will:
- Broaden access
- Offer earlier screenings, interventions, and support
- Provide care to additional communities in need
- Create better health outcomes, family stability, and community resilience.
