Establishing Our Ossining Open Door Community Health Campus

The Need

Ossining has been Open Door’s home since 1972. Today, in this community, we serve 18,000 patients in our historic facility at 165 Main Street, a building originally constructed in the late 19th century as a three-story department store and later converted into a medical office. Last renovated more than 20 years ago, this space can no longer accommodate our patient base or support our integrated, multidisciplinary care model. Through the 50 More Campaign, we will create our Ossining Health Campus, spanning two buildings and totaling more than 40,000 square feet.

165 Main Street

Renovations are underway to house expanded dental services and a new dental residency program, women’s health, podiatry, optometry, and wellness programs. We expect to complete renovations here in 2026.

2 Church Street

We have fully transformed this facility into our hub for medical care, behavioral health care, and telehealth services, with flexible exam rooms and collaborative team space for practitioners. We welcomed patients to this facility in December 2025.
“Reconfigured facilities and expanded programs are key to meeting our aim of serving 100,000 patients by 2040. We will provide better, more flexible, and more cost-effective care for our communities and successfully attract and retain the best providers and staff.”

—Lindsay Farrell, President and CEO

Our Progress

Our immediate priority is to secure philanthropic support to complete ongoing renovations in 165 Main Street. These upgrades will improve efficiency, patient flow, and care coordination, ensuring our patients and staff have the resources and high-quality environment they need and deserve. Take a look are our ongoing renovation and the transformation achieved in 2 Church Street.
