Our Vision

We envision thriving communities, where all our neighbors receive the care they need to live healthy lives.

Our Mission

Open Door provides excellent, accessible, and personalized care regardless of ability to pay to build healthier families and communities.

Our Values

Access Quality – Health care is a right, not a privilege.

Affordability – People deserve care regardless of their ability to pay.

Community – Access to health care benefits everyone in the community.

Efficiency – Health care should be delivered timely and cost-effectively.

Empowerment – People can make good decisions when they are armed with the right information.

Patients – People should come first.

Respect – Diversity and respect for cultural and linguistic differences should be upheld.

For 50 years, we’ve set the standard for people-centered care by offering families and individuals across Westchester and the Hudson Valley access to excellent health care and supportive services — from primary care and dental to mental health and so much more.

Our innovative care delivery network focuses on long-term, healthy outcomes. Everyone pays according to their ability, and our comprehensive network of services aims to prevent health challenges before they start. Through our integrated care system, we strive to help all people flourish and lead healthy lives in their communities.

We Are a Federally Qualified Health Center

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is a care center that is community-based and patient-directed. FQHCs promote community health by providing health care services to EVERYONE and improve access to health care to all, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

We provide equal access to quality health care to all persons regardless of age, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or the ability to pay.

We Are a Patient-Centered Medical Home

Our certification as a PCMH by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) means our patients can count on high-quality health care delivered with an emphasis on care coordination and communication.
