Community Residence

Community Residence

Community Residence for Adolescents

The goal of our Community Residence program is successful functioning for each youth and integration into his natural/surrogate family and the overall community. The residence is a community-based, non-restraint setting designed for short-term stays.

The program partners with families and encourages their participation at all levels. Families are provided with the education, skill development, and emotional support to continue and/or resume primary care for their child.

Youth are offered caring, consistent adult relationships, structured daily living activities, strength-based interventions and practice communicating, building resilience and teaching problem-solving skills as part of a comprehensive individualized plan of care.

Each youth receives clinical treatment (therapy and psychiatric services) provided by local providers. Advocacy and strong relationships with the local school district enable each youth to maximize his academic and social success.
